Franklin has always been an industrious town and years ago established a reputation for lumbering, shipmasts, railroad ties, granite, blueberries and Christmas trees. Today the town proudly claims more than 75 businesses , including electricians, jewelers, photographers, woodcutters, wreath makers, potters, basket makers, tile makers and sculptors.  Be sure to come and share in our Bicentennial celebrations in Summer 2025!
